SUPERIOR- Local veterinarians and groomers donated their time to help take care of Northland pets.
People could bring their pooches out to get micro chipped or groomed for a reduced fee.
They also collected items that could be used by the human society.
Veterinarian, Amanda Bruce said, "and so we want to do not only a monetary donation to help the humane society, but something to help make their job easier. So a pet that's micro chipped is much more likely to be returned to its owner."
The funds raised will go to help support the Human Society of Douglas County.
