SUPERIOR- These seniors have seen many things through the years, but they haven't seen a winter like this."I think this is the worst winter I can remember.""I was a kid in the 30's and we had some bad winters but never this long.""I taught school here about 30 years ago, and we had a few snow days but nothing like this here."Even with the bad weather, residents here at light house in superior have plenty to keep them busy.Director of Light House Superior, Colleen Morgan said, "our goal is to offer the environment for our residents to be able to get out in the building and be safe and still have stuff going on."They can enjoy the outside, indoors by the fountain. Go to social hour or read by the fire, but what they really want is to go out side."They watch if, it's at all warm they're peeking out the door to see where's the snow's at because seriously the first warm day with no snow on the sidewalk they will be outside.""I haven't gone outside for weeks now."I'm really tired of all this, but what are we going to do.""When you're a child you enjoy it, but when you're my age, not so much."But Al, Phyllis and Barbara know staying positive goes a long way."There's fantastic people living here and working here so that really helps your attitude.""You can't mope about it because I'm too old to start feeling sorry for myself."It's up to you what you want to do, you can keep busy or stay in your room.
