Family and Friends Pack Billings Park Civic Center to Support Superior Girl

SUPERIOR - A benefit was held Sunday for little girl in Superior who is battling a rare disease that only affects one in 10 million children.
Amelia Baker was diagnosed with Opsoclonus Myoclonus syndrome, known as O.M.S, just before her second birthday.
This afternoon was the first time Amelia was out in public and around that many people in six months.
She had fun seeing everyone there to support her.
Amelia's parents consider her a lucky one because her treatments are working and she's improving every day.
Family, friends, co-workers and community members filled the Billings Park Civic Center to show their support for the family.
"You don't want to be in this position, but just the fact that you find yourself in this situation and that many people are here to support you is just, it's just amazing," said Lee Baker, Amelia's mother.
If you didn't make it to the benefit today and would like to help the family out, you can make donations to the Amelia Joy Baker Benefit Fund at the National Bank of Commerce.
The address is: 1127 Tower Ave, Superior, WI 54880
