Grant to Help Miller Creek Storm Runoff

DULUTH-The Miller Mill Mall is getting a storm water management plan.
It's all thanks to a $186,000 legacy grant.
The funds will be used to find a way to manage and treat storm water runoff.
The water that fills up in the parking lot and on the roof gets heated in the summer and eventually pours into the Miller Creek.
The grant will help to manage where the overheated storm water travels before getting to the creek.
With cooler runoff, they'll help protect the habitat for brook trout.
