Pot Legalization Blamed for Deadly Crashes

Fatal crashes involving marijuana use have tripled over the past decade and that's leading some researchers to believe legalizing the drug may have something to do with it.
Researchers at Colombia University studied crash statistics from six states that routinely do toxicology tests on drivers involved in deadly wrecks.
They found drugged-driving accounted for more than 28 percent of deaths in 2010.
That's up 16 percent from 1999.
Alcohol-related crashes stayed at a consistent 40 percent throughout the decade.

The more colds and viral infections a woman has during pregnancy, the more likely her child will have asthma.
Researchers studied more than 2,500 pregnant women and their children.
Moms answered questions during pregnancy and the children were checked at three months, then every year until they reached five.
The team found a mother's level of exposure to viral infections and bacteria affects the environment in the womb.

Conagra foods is recalling almost 55,000 pounds of chicken noodle soup products because of misbranding and undeclared allergens.
The product has a "healthy choice chicken with rice" soup label and contains wheat and egg, common allergens, which are not declared on the label.
The containers have been shipped nationwide, but there have been no reports of any illness.
