Locally Laid is Runner Up in Super Bowl Contest

DULUTH - We have some disappointing news to pass along about a Northland company involved in a national contest.
Thursday, Locally Laid Eggs announced they were the runners up in a competition for a 30 second spot in the Super Bowl.
The winning company is GoldieBlox.
The company's owners say they ran a fun campaign and are incredibly proud of the stir kicked up trying to Hail Mary a chicken into the world's largest football spectacle.
The PR firm working with Intuit says Locally Laid got media impressions that number in the billions.
Locally Laid's owners say it was good for Duluth, good for Minnesota and good for farmers raising real food everywhere.
They say Northlanders should be proud of themselves for getting them named runner up.
