85 Year Old Solon Springs Woman Killed in Crash

SOLON SPRINGS - An 85 year old Solon Springs woman has died in a two vehicle crash.
It happened on Highway 53 at Business 53, the south junction across from the Solon Springs Airport on Wednesday at 12:52 pm.
Police say 85 year old Josephine Stewart was driving west across the northbound lanes of USH 53 and collided with a northbound vehicle driven by a 58 year old Superior man.
Stewart was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle was uninjured.
Both were wearing seatbelts.
