DULUTH, Minn. - Things heated up at the Duluth library Saturday afternoon with a beach party.
The fun event complete with hula hopping and a limbo contest kicked off the winter reading program for kids and adults. "It's really important because the more you read the better you are at it and the reading is such an essential skill in our society today,” said Susan Schumacher, Youth Service Coordinator at Duluth’s library.
It’s not too late to sign up for the winter reading program. If you read a lot you could even win a big prize, including a Nook Tablet.
