DULUTH, Minn. - People at the North Shore Scenic Railroad are getting in the holiday spirit by decorating their trains and the train museum. The first ride on the Christmas City Express leaves the station the day after Thanksgiving. Getting the trains lit up takes nearly three weeks. Organizers say while the holidays are an exciting time, it’s bitter sweet because when it's over trains go to bed and aren’t up and running again until spring. "It's an annual tradition every year we get to decorate a train, we get to decorate our beautiful Lake Superior Railroad Museum,” said North Shore Scenic Railroad station master, Josh Miller. “It's a lot of fun getting it ready to make so many people so happy."
