DULUTH, Minn. - Some storefront scenery is changing in downtown Duluth.Red curtains went up in the Duluth Trading Company's windows for the 9th Annual Storefront Display and Lighting Contest.The Greater Downtown Council puts it on to encourage businesses and the community to get involved downtown.This year, 28 businesses are participating.Anyone can vote for their favorite display and get a chance to win prizes."With the holiday season starting next week this is just a very fun way to get our number of businesses involved in the holiday, in the holiday campaign," said Special Events coordinator for the Greater Downtown Council, Darlene Marshall.The windows will be unveiled this Friday.
