Dogs Takeover Fitger’s Complex

DULUTH - Dog parents learned about unique options for their fury kids. The second annual Fido's Fall Festival kicked off in the Fitger's complex.

The event offered onsite adoption, training and education about things like lyme disease, first aid care and the yellow ribbon awareness.

"It's an idea where you put a yellow ribbon on a dogs leash,” A Place for Fido Owner Jamie Parent said. “It's kind of like please don't come near me I'm not an approachable dog."

This year the festival added a Halloween photo contest.

The pooch with the most likes on Facebook wins.
