SUPERIOR - A consultant to help Superior decide how much to pay its employees has come back asking for more information.
A few months ago, the city council voted to hire Carlson- Dettmann Consulting to help gauge where Superior ranks in paying city employees.
Tuesday evening the council voted to pull stats from the entire state to see how they rank.
"Skilled positions are becoming in shorter supply,” explained Charlie Carlson with Carlson-Dettmann Consulting. “Lesser skilled jobs are also picking up because construction is picking up."
The firm is expected to come back to the council to vote on the new pay plan mid-November.
