Superior False Alarm Calls Come With Fines

SUPERIOR - Having police show up at your house or business for a false alarm too many times in Superior will now cost you $50.

Superior councilors voted to impose the fee Tuesday.

Police say when Superior's building code was modified back in 2008 the language was accidently dropped.

The new ordinance states community members and businesses with more than five false alarms a year will be billed after the fifth time.
