DULUTH - About 100 musicians are preparing to take the stage this weekend.The Duluth Symphony Orchestra is gearing up for its second concert of the 2014-2015 season.It's a more unique and interactive experience this time featuring a photo and video documentary to go along with the music. The theme is the history of space travel."It starts with Kennedy saying, 'We're going to the moon,' and then it shows us how they did it and it shows the moon landing and it goes on to show us about discovery and all these kind of, the space shuttles and so on," said Dirk Meyer, music director with the Duluth Superior Symphony.The concert is Saturday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m.Purchase tickets by calling the DSSO's box office at 218-623-3776 or visit the DSSO's website.
