Exhibit Promoting Peace Opens At UWS

SUPERIOR - A world-wide traveling exhibit has opened at UWS to promote peace.

It's all about exploring the root causes of violence across the globe and how individual actions can foster a culture of peace instead of violence.

"About how one person can make a difference and how can we collectively began to pool our wisdom as human beings. Human beings created a lot of these problems. How are we going to be able to change them," explained Lisa Mattsson, an outreach specialist and senior lecturer at UWS.

The exhibit is open through Oct. 3 in Swenson Hall.
