DNR Puts Record Antlers on Display

ST. PAUL - The world-record deer antlers seized by DNR officers in 2009 during a poaching investigation were put on display today for public viewing at the DNR headquarters in St. Paul.
The eight-point buck was taken illegally near Cannon Falls.
It is believed to be the highest scoring eight-point buck in Whitetail history.
In 2014, 1,642 Turn in Poacher (TIP) calls were referred to Minnesota DNR conservation officers with 356 arrests made.
Rewards paid totaled $6,175.
