CSS Upperclassmen Welcome Freshman to Campus

DULUTH - The rain didn't stop upperclassmen at the College of St. Scholastica from welcoming freshmen to campus.

This year CSS will see more than 460 first year students.

The goal of the welcome committee is to make new students' first time away from home a memorable one.

"I think it's just extremely important that they know that they're able to be themselves that they feel welcome,” said CSS junior, Paul Schultzentenverg. “That they feel that they don't need to be afraid and we're trying to make it more comforting for them."

The fun continues through the weekend.

Classes at CSS start Tuesday.
