Duluth Airport Deals With Cancellations

DULUTH - The Duluth International Airport is keeping passengers warm after 3,000 flights were cancelled throughout the U.S.
Tuesday in Duluth there were two cancellations and one delay.
The airport assures flyers it's not the cold causing the hold up, but the weather in bigger airports like Detroit and Chicago.
“Unfortunately Mother Nature is something that we are unable to control in this industry,” explained Duluth Airport’s director of marketing, Natalie Peterson. “The primary focus for us is safety for our passengers.”
Airport officials in Duluth are working to get people where they need to be.
Some people are even being bussed down to Minneapolis for faster flights.
