Electric Heaters Flying off Store Shelves in Duluth

DULUTH - Staying warm is the name of the game lately in the Northland. Heaters are the big go-to item of the week.

Electric heaters are the top seller at ace hardware in Duluth.

The cold apparently snuck up on some Northlanders who didn't have time to prepare before the big freeze.

“People do need some relief,” explained Burggraf’s Ace Hardware general manager, Tom Donlin. “We have some older buildings in Duluth that are just a little to drafty and these take the edge off quite nicely.”

Electric heaters can rack up you’re electric bill if you're using it as your main source for heat.

If you do have one, make sure to keep it away from walls and anything else that could catch fire.
