Third Annual Marine Days

SUPERIOR- AMI consultants held its third annual Marine Days in Superior.

The event is designed to help the community learn more about the marine industry.

It's also meant to educate people about the many aquatic business opportunities on the Great Lakes.

AMI vice president, Craig Jouppi said, Our businesses here in heavy industry employs a lot of people and there's a lot of spin off jobs and a lot of support services that are provided at each of these facilities and so for there to be the availability of a working dock is really important to these organizations."

People also had the chance to meet with local marine construction companies and even try on commercial dive equipment.
