Snow Mobile Safety

DULUTH- Monday afternoon a Virginia man suffered serious injuries in a snow mobile accident.

The rider hit a bump in the trail and was ejected from the machine.

He was air lifted to St. Luke's hospital and his condition is unknown.

Buddy Hernesman from R J Sport and Cycle said, "the biggest tip and trick is to ride within your means and your skill level."

This is the third snow mobile incident in the area in recent weeks.

Last Saturday, a Shafer man died when his snow mobile crashed into a parked trailer.

That same day a 4-year-old girl was injured when she and the adult she was riding with crashed into a fence.

The people at R J Sport and Sycle said to stay safe on your snow mobile, get safety training, be mindful of your speed, and always wear safety gear.
