Man Arrested After Police Chase in Stolen Truck

DULUTH - A Duluth man is behind bars after authorities said he led them on a chase in a stolen truck.
St. Louis County Sheriff's deputies said the 52-year-old man also stole numerous firearms from the victim's home on Lismore Road.
Authorities tried to catch up to him, but they said he kept speeding away.
Officials said the suspect eventually crashed on the old roadway leading to the 148th Air Base and then ran into the woods.
The suspect was tracked to the fence line of the Duluth International Airport and climbed the fence in an attempt to evade authorities.
The man was taken into custody on the airfield.
The firearms and other stolen property were recovered from inside the vehicle.
