SUPERIOR- After 20 years on the Superior police force, Sergeant Mark Mcgillis also retired Friday.
McGillis had a brain aneurysm and stroke in 201 but after months of recovery, he came back to the force.
He said he was pleased to be able to retire in his own time.
Sgt. McGillis said, "it's a life time of experiences. I will probably never forget most of them. Some good, some bad. It's unfortunate, but the bad things stick with you."
Mcgillis said he also has many good memories he will always carry with him.
Some of those include raising his two daughters.
