DULUTH - Two Duluth natives are home for the holidays and came together to perform an exclusive concert for the Northland Thursday.
Mara Beier went to Duluth East High School and then on to the Berkeley College of Music in Boston.
Sam Bolen went to Marshall School and then studied theater at Yale.
The friends have reunited while finding themselves both living and performing in New York City.
“We are so far away from home pursuing what we love to do but we don't often get to come back here,” explained Bolen.
“And do it for the people who have helped us move on and grow towards other things,” Beier said, finishing Bolen’s sentence.
The duo first met at an all-state choir camp in high school.
