DULUTH - If you're looking for a new family pet, RAGOM might be able to help you out.
Retrieve a Golden of Minnesota is a non-profit organization started in 1985 to find homes for golden retrievers.
Once a month they set up at Petco in DUluth to spread the word of the organization and educate people about the breed.
The main goal of RAGOM is to give dogs a second chance at life.
"It's a good family pet, it's a good fit for a lot of people. It has a nice temperament, it's calm generally speaking," said John Hunn, a volunteer for RAGOM.
In the 28 years the organization has been around they've adopted out more than 8,000 dogs.
If you'd like to adopt a golden you can find more information on their website.
