Solon Springs Man Killed in Crash

DOUGLAS COUNTY – A Solon Springs man was killed after he was hit by a cement truck.
It happened around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the intersections of CTH E and CTH Z in the Town of Parkland.
The victim is Raymond Cload, 77.
Cload did not yield at the intersection and was t-boned by the truck, killing him instantly, according to authorities.
The truck driver, Castle Freeman, 44, of Superior, was not injured.
The crash is still under investigation.
