The Underground Hosts 'Bob Ross Paint-A-Long' Fundraiser

DULUTH - Artists of all experience levels channeled their inner Bob Ross Wednesday.

The Underground Theater hosted its first ever Bob Ross Paint-A-Long to raise money for the Duluth Art Institute.

Dozens of amateurs and professionals broke out their brushes to show off their skills along with Ross himself playing on a big screen TV.

"Bob Ross was all about the joy of painting and that painting can be for everybody and I think the Duluth Art Institute has a similar message in that we're trying to connect with everyone. We think that everyone has a way of engaging with the arts," said Anne Dugan, executive director at the Duluth Arts Institute.

The money raised will go toward the institute's programs and services.
