More Senior Housing Being Built in Superior
By:
SUPERIOR - A groundbreaking ceremony Tuesday kicked off for a project bringing more senior housing to Superior. Lighthouse of Superior, an assisted living and memory care facility, is adding 32 apartments to their building.
The complex will house studio, 1 and 2 bedrooms apartments.
Amenities include a warm water therapy pool, new pub and bistro as well as a full fitness center.
Officials say they are looking to fill a great need for senior housing in the area while also improving the quality of life for their residents.
"We really look at helping our seniors live life on purpose because they do deserve more than just a room and three meals," Lighthouse of Superior Executive Director Colleen Morgan said.
The new apartments will be available for rent by the end of 2014.
