DULUTH - If you’ve ever wanted to be in a movie, here’s your chance.

A big time filmmaker and Northland native is looking for local actors to fill a few spots.

The film is called "Strange Nature" and has an eco-thriller theme.

It's about an outbreak of animal mutations in rural Minnesota.

The crew is filming it along the North Shore and they're looking for about 15 people, including children, to fill open spots.

Roles include teenage boys, a policeman, doctor, neighborhood kids and others.

Filmmakers are also looking for a local to fill the supporting lead role of a 30 year old farmer.

Casting directors from Los Angeles will be coming to Duluth July 10-11.

If you're interested, check out the Strange Nature website.

You can also email your headshot and resume to Casting Director Jeffery Passero.
