Hayward Musky Queen Contestants Share Experience

HAYWARD - Fox 21 caught up with the Hayward Musky Queen pageant contestants.After six weeks of intense training the girls are ready to strut their stuff.
They had to learn pageant walking, turning and the art of public speaking.
They say it's been a great experience.
Brenna Hoag said, "I really like it. I'm going to remember it forever. Mostly being in it with all my friends."
Taylor Cross said, "I think it is a self–confidence thing. I think it really boosts your self–esteem and gives you an opportunity to get out into our community."
All the contestants will win a scholarship this year.
They will also win prizes for different categories like miss congeniality, and miss entrepreneur.
All the girls will be riding a float in the parade on Sunday too.
