Man Dies in Snow Mobile Accident

Authorities say a Shafer man has died from injuries related to a snow mobile accident.

The Shafer sheriff's department says, 63 year old, Dennis Holt was driving a snow mobile he was not used to. They say the vehicle suddenly accelerated and hit a stationary trailer.

Police say Holt died at the scene at 11:30 on Saturday morning.

Authorities said the snow mobile had a left handed throttle, instead of a break on the left, and that may have contributed to the accident
