Fire at Duluth Hotel

On Saturday afternoon , the Duluth fire department responded to a small fire at the Allyndale hotel.
Assistant Fire Chief Clint Reff, said the fire started in the ceiling of an empty room on the first floor of the hotel around 1:30pm.
Only one room was affected. It took fire fighters less than an hour to contain the blaze.
The fire department has estimated the damage to be around $20,000 dollars.
