MN GOP Candidates Make Stop In Duluth
DULUTH - The Republican Party of Minnesota was in Duluth Monday showing off its newly endorsed candidates.
Among there were Mike McFadden for U.S. senate and Jeff Johnson for the Governor's seat.
"We're going to the take the fight to Al Franken. We have a better message: How do we get back on the pathway to growth and prosperity? How do we create jobs and increase wages in this great state of ours," McFadden explained.
"There's no better example of that than Northern Minnesota and the mines. We can open those mines and we can do it in an environmentally responsible way. I will take the lead on that as governor," Johnson said.
The fly-around is the launching pad for Republican candidates to take their campaigns around the state over the next five months.
