Two Die in Fire in Mercer, WI

MERCER - A fire in northern Wisconsin has left two people dead.

The Iron County Sheriff's Department says the fire happened on Old Highway 51 Road in the town of Mercer.

When firefighters arrived on the scene the structure was engulfed in flames.

Iron County's coroner pronounced 37 year old Shawn Gehr and 24 year old Shawn Spencer dead on the scene.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
