Duluth Snow Dig Out Continues
DULUTH – The City of Duluth Maintenance Operations crews have removed a significant amount of snow from downtown and Canal Park over the past several days while conducting snow removal operations. Additional attention is being placed on the snow banks along Arrowhead Road Friday.
City crews from the Parks and Recreation department have been making progress on clearing sidewalks but there is more work and challenges that lie ahead given the numerous sidewalks in the city and the amount of snow that has accumulated to date.
Other crews are out today revisiting and plowing residential streets that remain compacted with snow and ice.
Snow plow operations following this historic snow storm have been difficult and tedious but the City thanks the public for their patience and cooperation.
Anyone with streets or alleys still in need of attention can email MaintenanceOps@duluthmn.gov or call (218) 730-5430.
