New Owner Plans Renovations to Duluth's Radisson

DULUTH - After struggling to make repairs and closing for several months in 2013 due to a water main break last spring, the Duluth Radisson is turning over a new leaf.
The hotel now has a new owner.
Carl Kaeding finalized the sale on the iconic building Thursday.
He said many people have fond memories of the building and he wants to restore it to its former glory.
Kaeding has some great new plans in store.
"The cosmetics of the building are what we are going to change. Complete top down renovation. Everything you see today will be different 12 months from now," he said.
The renovations will be done floor by floor and are expected to debut in the fall.
The hotel will remain open during construction and all guest reservations and events will be accommodated.
