New Rec Center to Open at Northland College

ASHLAND - Northland College is getting a new world class fitness facility.

The old swimming pool will be filled in and, instead, be covered with new high quality work out equipment, a bouldering wall, and a dance floor for aerobics and yoga.

"One of the main purposes of this facility is to engage students and provide them with quality recreation and fitness opportunities," said Robert Jackson, vice president of finance and administration for Northland College.

The project should be finished in early July, just in time for students and staff to take full advantage during the fall semester.
