Group Performs Play To Raise Awareness For CASDA

SUPERIOR - An event at UW Superior aimed at raising awareness for domestic assault.

A groups organized a silent auction and performed the "Vagina Monologues" to raise money for the Center Against Sexual and Domestic Violence.

"If you can't be supportive directly to someone who has been abused or is currently in a situation where they're not safe at home, then support the community and the groups that do," said Debbie Cheslock, one of the performers.

This is the second year they've put on the show and plan to keep the tradition going.
