Brothers Start Their Own "Craft Meat" Business

DULUTH - Two brothers who grew up smoking meat and learned butchering from their uncles, are taking their experience to the next level.

It all started when Nick and Josh Beste thought something was missing in the meat market and decided to start a "craft meat movement."

Man Cave Meats started as a direct sales business and within the last year has expanded to selling their meats in grocery stores in Minnesota and North Dakota.

They can be found in all Super One Foods.

They say their meats are high quality and give something extra that's not found in the current meat industry.

"We like to consider ourselves the pioneer of craft meat. So, we're not just gonna come out with a plain bratwurst or plain hamburger, all of our stuff is gonna be unique. We're gonna have awesome flavors like a buffalo wing, blue cheese bratwurst. You're not gonna find that anywhere else."

Their plan is to keep expanding in the Midwest.

This Spring they are launching burgers and introducing meatballs in the Fall or Winter.
