SUPERIOR - The Lake Superior Binational Forum kicked off its event called Mysteries of Lake Superior, from Top to Bottom.
Scientists, businesses and faith communities were among the researchers.
Some of the topics include how climate change is affecting lake levels and the clues of life from hundreds of years ago hidden in the bottom of the lake.
"What they learned today was just a short little snapshot of issues,” Lake Superior Binational Forum U.S. coordinator Lissa Radke said. “But we’re hoping that excites their curiosity to look for more resources, to learn some more and find out maybe ways to minimize these impacts as well."
If you missed the event, the presentations are available here.
