Hibbing Home a Total Loss After Fire

HIBBING - Hibbing Fire crews responded to a house fire at 10894 Hwy 92 just before 3 a.m. Thursday morning.

When crews got there, they reported the first floor and front door of the building had burned away blocking entry entry into the home.

No one was home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.

The home is considered a total loss with damage estimated at $65,000.

Chisolm, Virginia, Mt. Iron, Cherry, the St. Luois County sheriffs office and Minnesota Power crews were also on scene assisting the Hibbing Fire Department.
