DULUTH - One of two men accused of ambushing and shooting up a Duluth cell phone store has pleaded guilty.
Robert Neft, 32, of Saginaw, made the plea to a second degree attempted murder charge Friday.
The judge dropped a first degree aggravated robbery charge as part of Neft's plea agreement.
The shooting happened just before Christmas last year at ILF Smart Phone Clinic on London Road.
That's where police say Neft and his friend Brandon Tyson, 29, demanded money, got in a struggle with the business owner, Collin Mackin, and ended up shooting him before taking off in a car.
Neft's sentencing is set for April 14.
