Holiday in Canal Park

DULUTH - Families got the chance to start a new holiday tradition Saturday.
Canal Park hosted the first ever "Holiday in Canal Park."
Shoppers spent the day walking around the area, visiting santa, sampling foods, listening to music and making Christmas tree decorations.
"Well Duluth, Canal Park actually has quite a few more unique shops. You're not gonna find a soda store in the mall," said Susan Smith of Fizzy Waters.
"Canal Park has a lot to offer, from larger, more expensive gifts per say, to more basically priced gifts. Especially with the push toward locally produced gifts and goods, Canal Park definitely offers a great deal," said Erik Bruhnke of Duluth Pack.
The event hopes to give families something new to look forward to each year and show off the unique shops that Canal Park has to offer.
