DULUTH - Duluth officials are gearing up to take a trip to the state capitol in support of local bonding.
It's for the annual Capitol Days where the Duluth Chamber of Commerce members along with St. Louis County officials lobby for state money to support numerous projects in the area.
Locals are looking for funding to help with Spirit Mountain’s infrastructure, Wade Stadium, and to restore the Norshor Theatre.
“Being there shows our commitment,” explained chamber member, Roger Wedin. “It shows we're sincerely interested in what we're proposing.”
Duluth's capitol day is Wednesday, March 12.
