Section Of Miller Hill Mall Closed

DULUTH- A small section of the Miller Hill Mall was closed today, after the structural integrity of a section of roof was compromised.

Crews were called to remove snow which was weighing down that section of roof.
Several stores are expected to be closed through Monday..
They are Pam's Hallmark, Regis Salon,
Pro Image, T's Me, and the Piercing Pagoda.
Mall public information officer Machelle Kendrick said there is no need for alarm.
The section was closed because the safety of patrons was their top concern.

Kendrick also said the mall is working with the fire department and engineers on a contingency plan.
