Turf Time at the DECC

DULUTH - Some Northland kids got to put their athletic abilities to use indoors.
They played classic games like football and dodge ball on turf inside the DECC.
The fun was all part of Turf Time, an annual event promoting sports, fitness and recreation.
"Sometimes when those kids are in all day from the school closings it can get kind of crazy inside the household,” said Dustin Anderson with the Duluth Boys and Girls Club. “So it's kinda nice to have kids come out and release that energy."
The turf the kids played on was actually donated by the Minnesota Vikings.
