Winter Dance Party Celebration Happening in Duluth

DULUTH - A special event will soon kick off in Greysolon's ballroom.
The Duluth Armory will host their first Winter Dance Party to pay homage to the original Winter Dance Party held in the Armory in 1959 and included performances by musicians like Buddy Holly.
Like the original, the event will have a 50's theme along with great music, dancing and of course food.
"Bring your poodle skirts and your penny loafers and join us for a little dancing and a little celebration,” Duluth Armory Arts and Music Center Project Development Consultant Mark Poirier said. “We hope to keep the music alive."
The dance party kicks off Friday, February 21, 2014 from 6-10p.m..
