Superior Police Evacuate Parts of Billings Park

Superior- Roads in superior were shut down for hours as police searched for a man with a gun.

Police say they evacuated the park because they were told a man entered superior forest with a shot gun.
They say he abandoned his car and headed into the forest on foot.
Police told skiers and anyone on the trails to leave the area as they brought the K9 to search the area for the man.
At this time we don't know if they have found him
but he may have been located because many police were told to leave the scene early this evening.
