American Idol Winner Performs at Black Bear Casino

CARLTON - A country heart-throb who won American Idol brought his southern charm to the Northland Friday.
Scotty McCreery took the stage and performed at Black Bear Casino.
Since his idol win, he has put out three albums including hits like "I Love You This Big" and "The Trouble With Girls."
Despite the cold, McCreery said he's thrilled to be in Minnesota.
"We go different places and we kinda know how the fans are gonna be and Minnesota is definitely one of those spots where we always know they're gonna have a good time. The good country music loving fans up here. It's just always a lot of fun up here," he said.
McCreery said his biggest music influences are George Straight, Garth Brooks and Elvis.
