Man Arrested for Selling Heroin, Endangering Child

DULUTH – Police have arrested a man in connection with selling heroin out of a motel room.
On Thursday, investigators with the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force and Duluth Police Department executed a search warrant at the Voyageur Lakewalk Inn on Superior Street.
They found Carvell Robinson, 31, and arrested him for second degree sale of heroin.
Investigators located seven grams of heroin on him and $2,800 cash.
Robinson's associate, a 25-year-old woman, was also arrested on a local warrant.
According to police, her 5-year-old daughter was staying in the room with her and Robinson while he was selling heroin.
Additional charges are pending on her relating to the drug investigation and child endangerment.
Robinson is currently on probation in St. Louis County for selling crack cocaine.
He was out on bail in Douglas County where he is charged with seven counts of delivery/sale of heroin and two counts of felon in possession of a firearm.
Robinson is also out on bail in St. Louis County for third degree sale of heroin.
He is currently in the St. Louis County jail on charges of second degree sale of heroin and child endangerment.
